BREAKING: Pirates appoint a new coach
Kaizer Chiefs to move for Monyane, Mako
Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane have both been training with Kaizer Chiefs after leaving Pirates. The news has divided opinion; some fans believe that both players are Pirates rejects and therefore not good enough to take Chiefs to the next level. Others feel that they still have plenty to offer, especially Monyane, who’s a traditional, old-school right-back whose priority is defending rather than getting forward. At 25, he’s still got plenty of fuel left in the tank. Mako, however, is 31 and likely past his best.
