Kaizer Chiefs have already confirmed a total of THREE player departures.
However, with the PSL transfer window not even open, many more Amakhosi stars are set to be heading out of Naturena.
PLETHORA OF CHIEFS STARS FACING LIKELY DEPARTURES
In goal, Fiacre Ntwari is the Chiefs goalkeeper heading out, according to Afrik-foot. Meanwhile, Nassreddine Nabi is eager to sign a new goalkeeper – or two.
Ntwari was inconsistant and unstable at the back for Amakhosi throughout the season. Now, Nabi and co have turned their attention to recruiting somebody more consistant in goal.
In defence, Reeve Frosler, Edmilson Dove, Bongani Sam and Aden McCarthy (Loan) are all facing likely departures when the transfer window opens. All of these men have fallen down the pecking order under Nabi. This is unlikely to change given the roles of Inacio Miguel, Rushwin Dortley and Bradley Cross.
Meanwhile, these outgoing Orlando Pirates players have reportedly both signed for Chiefs.
Furthermore, midfielders Edson Castillo, Geogre Matlou and Mduduzi Mdantsane are all on their way out of Chiefs. Nabi wants to clean up foreign spaces for new international signings.
So, Castillo and Dove (defence) are the foreign-based stars likely to make way. Whilst, Matlou is once again facing a likely departure and Mdantsane is set to be released following his loan spell with PSL rivals, Richards Bay.
Meanwhile, Chiefs have identified their priority transfer targets and replacements in each position.
