Kaizer Chiefs have been hard at work preparing for the new season while out in the Netherlands for pre-season camp.
Chiefs are expected to spend close to three weeks in the country, as they step up their 2025/26 season preparations.
Chiefs set to play top friendlies in the Netherlands
While in the Netherlands, Chiefs will be testing themselves against Dutch opposition in some friendly matches. Furthermore, their jam-packed schedule will see them play against some high profile top flight clubs as they sharpen up for the new campaign. In a schedule released by the club, they confirmed overall fixtures against the likes of Vitesse, FC Utrecht, NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente.
The first of those games, being against Vitesse is set to take place tonight. The Chiefs website has since given full details as to time, venue, ticket prices and where to watch.

“Kaizer Chiefs will play their first pre-season training match against Dutch first division side Vitesse on Tuesday, 8 July. Kick-off will be at 19:00. The match will take place at Sportpark Driel in Driel.For soccer fans, including South Africans living in Holland or elsewhere in Europe, who would like to attend Kaizer Chiefs’ training game, tickets can be bought online: kaartverkoop.vitesse.nl. When tickets are still available, they will be sold as well at Sportpark Driel. The entrance fee will cost 10 Euro per person, while kids until the age of 16 will pay only 5 Euro. Sportpark Driel will be open from 18:00. The match will be streamed live on the Kaizer Chiefs YouTube Channel.” Wrote the club website.
