Donald Trump could have an old rival to face if he somehow alters the Constitution and runs again for US President in 2028.

Kamala Harris, who lost to the Republican, hinted that she could run again for President in 2028 in her first wide-ranging interview in the UK.

Speaking to Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Harris branded Trump a ‘tyrant’ as she hit out at billionaires who seemingly bow down to his every whim.

The former vice president said: ‘There are many that have capitulated since day one who are bending the knee at the foot of a tyrant.

‘I believe, for many reasons, including they want to be next to power because they want to, perhaps, have a merger approved or avoid an investigation.’

Harris also blasted Trump’s chosen media regulator put pressure on ABC to fire Jimmy Kimmel after the host made a joke about the President’s reaction to the death of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk.

‘You look at what has happened in terms of how he has weaponised, for example, federal agencies going around after political satirists… His skin is so thin he couldn’t endure criticism from a joke, and attempted to shut down an entire media organisation in the process.’

The 61-year-old insisted her political career was far from over despite being trounced in the electoral college vote when she took over from Joe Biden.

‘My god, my god, what will happen to our country?’ Harris says she repeated when the result came through.

Harris, who firmly believes there will be a woman in the White House in the near future is still undecided as to whether she runs again.

‘I am not done,’ the former vice-president said. ‘I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it’s in my bones.’

Harris said she sees herself as a leader of the party, including in pushing back against Trump and preparing for the 2026 midterms.

She’s recently given a series of interviews following the September release of her book, ‘107 Days’ looking back on her experience replacing Biden in 2024.

The White House hit back at Kamala’s ‘absurd lies’ when asked to respond by the broadcaster.

‘When Kamala Harris lost the election in a landslide, she should’ve taken the hint – the American people don’t care about her absurd lies,’spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the BBC.

‘Or maybe she did take the hint and that’s why she’s continuing to air her grievances to foreign publications.’

Several potential candidates are already taking steps to get to know voters in key states, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, term-limited Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and California Rep. Ro Khanna.

Upward of 30 high-profile Democrats could ultimately enter the primary.
