In her brand new book, former Vice President Kamala Harris detailed her honest thoughts on transgender people, and specifically, their role in sports.
The world was SO CLOSE to having its first female US President, but as we know, it went to the DEI hire – orange people just aren’t that prevalent in politics. Months after her loss, Kamala Harris has reflected on her presidential run in an autobiography called 107 Days.
In the book, Kamala addressed her feelings towards trans people because, simply put, Donald Trump droned on and on about the 1 per cent of the American population during his run. His infamous campaign tagline, “Kamala is for they/them. I am for you”, became a major talking point, and rather than glossing over her feelings, the queen doubled down.

She noted how Donald’s trans obsessions “was painting a bulls-eye on their backs and putting them in peril”, something which has only continued throughout his presidency.
“There was no way I was going to go against my very nature and turn on transgender people,” she said.
In a line instantly picked up by just about every right-wing publication out there, Kamala did concede to the ongoing debate over trans women in sports, specifically at a youth level.
“I agree with the concerns expressed by parents and players that we have to take into account biological factors such as muscle mass and unfair student athletic advantage when we determine who plays on which teams, especially in contact sports,” she wrote. “With goodwill and common sense, I believe we can come up with ways to do this, without vilifying and demonising children.”
As mentioned, right-wing outlets span her comments as “Kamala admitting she was wrong” or “Kamala now anti trans”, but that’s just not what she was saying. Instead, she called for the middle ground to be explored, where both trans people and cisgender people could take part in “goodwill and common sense.”
Look, that isn’t to say Kamala Harris is some vestige of moral supremacy on trans issues; in fact, her political record would suggest otherwise. But let’s not twist her words.
Kamala Harris’ book shared her opinions, and Trump’s are already well known

I don’t even have to tell you what Donald Trump has said about trans people, because it’s painfully clear at this point. Only this week, in light of Charlie Kirk’s murder, the Trump administration has taken aim at what they deem “Radical Left Violence.”
In a news report published on the White House’s website, Trump’s government cherry-picked admittedly awful crimes where the criminal was trans, Mexican, Black, gay, or just about any other minority. Coincidentally, the countless more crimes perpetrated by straight white men were not included in the report – shocking stuff.
