Katie Price has hit back at her exes after Peter Andre accused her of ‘lying’ for the past 16 years and Alex Reid vowed to ‘spearhead a campaign’ against her.
The former glamour model, 47, talked on her podcast today with her sister Sophie Price about her ‘full on’ week after her exes each made online statements against her.
First, Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter, 52, who famously met Katie on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, said he’s felt ‘frustrated’ at having to remain silent since their separation in 2009.
He wrote that, in 2019, ‘the family courts issued a legally binding order’ to enforce the arrangement of Princess, now 18, and Junior, now 20, living with him and his wife, Emily Andre, 35, due to ‘well-documented’ reasons.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker claimed that Katie is continuing to repeat 16 years of ‘falsehoods’ and ‘lies’, more of which will be addressed in the ‘coming months’.
Then Katie’s second husband, former cage fighter Alex Reid, posted a high-drama video on social media, in which he vowed to ‘spearhead a campaign to expose the truth’.
In response, Katie defended herself in the episode of The Katie Price Show, released today.
‘All I’m going to say is it’s been full on,’ she said, adding: ‘All I’m going to say is I own my s**t. It’s very well documented. I’ve always said how I’ve learnt from my past. I always had a reaction to things, it would spiral out of control and make more headlines.
‘I’m so at peace now. At peace. All I say on my podcast is my opinions, how I feel, and I don’t lie about anything. Nothing. You know that.’
She continued: ‘Everything is in my lawyer’s hands now. I’m not being gaslit and bullied anymore from anybody.
‘I find people from my past to still go on about me, it’s like, are they all that obsessed? Just chill out and get on with your own lives.’
Sophie, who is also Katie’s publicist, offered: ‘Well I just think one thing happens and it triggers everything else. It is what it is.’
Katie then didn’t pass up an opportunity to throw shade at Peter, and his Instagram use, as she added: ‘But I will say one thing. I don’t have to go on social media.. The amount of times I see Junior, I don’t go, “Junior, while I’m around your house can we just do a picture just to show I’m round your house and we’re doing dinner?” I don’t have to prove it to anyone.’
In Alex’s statement, he said: ‘After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all. This is bigger than one person. It’s about honesty, accountability, and supporting those that have been silenced. The time for speculation is over. The truth will now be seen and heard.’
He also shared a video of Katie counting wads of cash, which comes after she was declared bankrupt twice in the past six years.
What Alex’s ‘truth’ is remains unclear, though it is reported Katie is ‘doing the sensible thing’ and seeking legal advice following Alex’s video.
A representative for Katie told Metro in a statement: ‘This is a video that was shared with Katie’s Trustee in Bankruptcy several months ago, and Katie has fully complied with the Trustee’s investigations into the same.
‘The cash featured did not belong to Katie.’
A source close to Katie told The Sun of Katie’s reaction: ‘We’re all really surprised by how calm she has been, as Alex’s latest stunt would send most people into a very dark place.
‘This isn’t the first time Kate’s ex-husbands and partners have ganged up on her, but the last time it happened, it drove her over the edge, and we were all seriously worried about her. This time around though, she is in a completely different place.’
Specifically addressing Alex’s actions, the friend said: ‘Her feeling is, if Alex Reid wants to create a drama to get himself some attention, then good for him.
‘She was blindsided by Alex dropping the clip, she had no idea it was coming, but she is refusing to stoop to his level by coming out all guns blazing as she has in the past.

‘That’s what the old Katie would have done, but this time around Katie is in no rush to publicly comment on this latest attempt to bring her down.’
As for Peter, in a statement to Metro, Katie’s reps said in response to his shock statement: ‘Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyers hands.
‘Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was…’ they repeated.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Katie revealed she spent quality time with her 18-year-old daughter Princess Andre at the weekend, with another well-timed comment about where the teen’s home is after Pete’s statement.
‘I spent the weekend with Princess. We went horse-riding, just chilled. I love it because when she comes home here, because obviously she stays at both houses, she’s always in my clothes,’ she said.
