Katy Perry is allegedly hurt and disappointed by Orlando Bloom’s recent behaviour after he spent a week partying in Italy for the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.
After just over two weeks of speculation, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom confirmed their split at the start of July in a joint statement to Page Six. They had reportedly gone their separate ways in January, but kept up appearances over hopes their relationship could work out.
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” their reps said. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”

As Katy Perry was videoed getting emotional whilst thanking her supporters, her ex was partying it up in Italy with A-listers from across the globe and posting cryptic quotes on Instagram. His behaviour hasn’t gone down well with the mother of his child, apparently.

As everyone speculated on the breakdown of his relationship, and Katy was clearly hurt by the messy drama, Orlando Bloom was showing us that a 48-year-old man can get down with the best of them.
Amidst the week-long party for Jeff Bezos’ gaudy bash, he was pictured chatting up Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, before boarding the Ritz-Carlton’s 794-ft Luminara for its inaugural cruise. Even then, he still somehow found time to post odd quotes to his Instagram.
“Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself,” he wrote, with another reading, “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”

All that (and more) has left Katy Perry feeling “disappointed” by her ex’s actions, according to a source close to her who spoke with the MailOnline.
“It’s disappointing. It’s hurtful and annoying. If he’s going to behave like an acting-up adolescent, that’s on him. She’s going to continue to work and take care of Daisy,” they said.
“Katy knows that he’s free to do whatever the hell he wants to do, she hoped he’d do it a little more discreetly and thoughtfully. So she’s disappointed and sad.”
So much for the “amicable” split.
