Krispy Kreme is calling all Harry Potter fans with its newest specialty doughnut drop. Both wizards and muggles are invited to support their selected house. Does your preferred flavor match your chosen Wizarding World persona?
Time and again, Krispy Kreme finds creative and innovative ways to engage with its fans. From transforming favorite candy into over the top creations to integrating popular characters into its offerings, the doughnut box holds tremendous flavor opportunities.
Starting on August 18, Krispy Kreme is adding the all-new Harry Potter: Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection. The specialty doughnuts in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products drop just in time for Back to Hogwarts season.
The doughnut collection includes all four houses. Those doughnuts are Gryffindor Doughnut, Slytherin Doughnut, Hufflepuff Doughnut and Ravenclaw Doughnut. Additionally, a Sorting Hat Doughnut is sold separately in a limited-edition, specialty box.

According to Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer for Krispy Kreme, “We’re channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter and the Houses of Hogwarts for a collection that is truly bewitching, But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”
The Sorting Hat Doughnut captures the magical world that Harry Potter fans have come to expect. Under the shimmering gold stars and sugar, a touch of Wizarding World magic awaits. Just like the moment in the story, a person’s house fate must be revealed. As people cut into the filled doughnut, the mystery-colored Kreme reveals one of the four Hogwarts Houses.

While the Sorting Hat Doughnut has limited availability, it will be the most talked about offering. Whether or not there is some magical spell that guides a person to their preferred house or fate just works in mysterious ways, everyone will be commenting about the correctness of this Sorting Hat’s determinations.
If guests would prefer to choose their own house, the boldly designed options capture various qualities that Harry Potter fans have come to celebrate. While the colors are classics, the flavors are a little more curious.
Krispy Kreme
For example, the Gryffindor Doughnut is a cookie-inspired flavor. Filled with cookie butter flavored Kreme, topped with Biscoff cookie crumble and decorated with red icing, gold accents and a Gryffindor crest, this flavor will be popular regardless of people’s preferred house. Few people turn down cookie butter.
The Slytherin Doughnut is a little richer. Decorated with the house’s signature green, the chocolate cookie sugar blend topping adds richness to the Original Glazed doughnut. This doughnut feels more sweet than sinister.
The Hufflepuff Doughnut channels classic British flavors. The brown butter toffee custard is a bit nutty. Paired with a unglazed shell doughnut, it is far from sweet, but it is a little complex. The chocolate drizzle and cookie crunch add a depth that is a touch unexpected.
Lastly, the Ravenclaw doughnut features a blueberry flavored icing on the Original Glazed doughnut. This flavor is the most unexpected of the four houses. It will be interesting to see how these house members react to their signature treat.
No need for a wand or other magical spell to enjoy this Harry Potter: Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection. Unlike Hermione’s ability to wind back time, muggles need to act quickly to enjoy these treats. They will disappear quickly.
