Liam Gallagher has made a rare confession about his years-long feud with his brother Noel Gallagher.
The rift between the Oasis brothers was very well documented after a bust-up in 2009 led to the breakdown of one of the most beloved bands in the UK.
The duo announced in 2024 that, despite years of barbs at one another, they’d decided to leave the past in the past and begin afresh with an Oasis reunion tour.
Opening up about his relationship with his brother on X, Liam, 53, revealed that he considered the years he was in a feud with his brother as ‘wasted’.
A fan on X asked: ‘How does it feel singing songs with ur brother again? Like old times?’
To this Liam replied with his regret: ‘You know what it’s spiritual but I can’t help think about all those wasted years what a waste of PRECIOUS time.’
It was unclear if he meant a waste of time not being close with his brother, or a waste of time not making music together as Oasis – perhaps both!

The Wonderwall singer has been incredibly active on social media in recent weeks, and yesterday revealed to fans that there would be no warm-up gigs ahead of the tour.
When one fan asked him to do a warm-up gig, the singer replied: ‘Warm up gigs are for w*****s.’
He also revealed that creative control of the upcoming tour setlist was decided by Noel.
One fan asked: ‘How was the tour setlist decided?’
‘Noel decided it,’ the Morning Glory singer said matter-of-factly.
When asked if he was nervous about the tour, Liam replied: ‘Nerves are for W*****S’
Adding: ‘Shouldn’t be doing it if you get nerves, you little tart’

This comes just days after Liam threatened to quit social media after faking a major announcement.
The Live Forever singer left fans baffled as he simply announced: ‘I WORK OUT’ after teasing he had big news, which some had hoped was something to do with the tour.
The excitement for the Oasis reunion tour has been increasing as it is set to kick off next month.
Starting in Cardiff in July, the Oasis Live 25 tour will conclude in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in November, with five sold-out Manchester dates pencilled in for mid-July.
With the big tour just weeks away now, fans were delighted to learn more about the Oasis’ setlist after an iconic song was heard in rehearsals.
