Lil Nas X could face years behind bars after four felony charges were filed against him this morning, it has been claimed.
The Old Town Road rapper sparked concern last week when he was seen wandering around the streets of LA, wearing nothing but his underwear.
Onlookers reportedly called police and the 26-year-old – real name Montero Hill – was allegedly hospitalized over a ‘possible overdose’.
According to multiple US publications, he was later arrested and charged over claims he assaulted a police officer.
He was held in custody over the weekend and released on a conditional $75,000 bail earlier today, following a hearing.
People Magazine reports that he appeared in front of a judge this morning where four charges were filed.

The charges include three counts of battery with injury to a police officer, and one count of resisting arrest.
The outlet reports that under the California penal code, convictions of felony battery on a police officer and resisting an executive officer comes with a three-year prison sentence, as well as a $10k fine, for each charge.
He reportedly pleaded not guilty to all allegations, with a pre-trial date set for September 15.

Lil Nas X has yet to speak publicly over the incident but his attorney, Christine O’Connor, shared that he has strong community ties to the area.
‘Assuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this person’s life,’ she added, via NBC News. ‘Nothing like this has ever happened to him.’
The Grammy-winner shot to superstardom in 2018 thanks to his viral hit, Old Town Road, which dominated global charts and set a Billboard Hot 100 record.

Last week, it emerged that the star was taken to hospital following an alleged ‘possible overdose’ – after he was seen walking around Studio City in the early hours of the morning on August 21.
Bystanders reportedly contacted authorities after the He Knows musician was spotted in public wearing only underwear and cowboy boots.
TMZ reports that law enforcement officials then called for medical support, with paramedics transporting him to hospital.
Metro has contacted Lil Nas X’s reps for a comment.
