Admittedly, while some of the products and unique flavors Peeps unveiled will make your mouth water, some made me wonder if the company got a bit too bold this year. However, in the press release announcing the new flavors, Peeps references a few of the options as “adventurous” and “bold,” and this isn’t the first time their willingness to think outside of the box has quickly become news among marshmallow lovers.
Along with Dr. Pepper, Easter candy fans everywhere can look forward to Peeps pairings with Pop-Tarts, Mike and Ike, a Rice Krispies Treats collab, and arguably its boldest addition, SunnyD. In total, Peeps announced 16 products that will be nationally available, and five others that are offered exclusively at select stores.
Thankfully, Peeps has ensured that regardless of your preference in candy type, you’re covered this Easter. This includes, of course, several unique all-sweet selections, an option described as “swicy” for those who like a bit of a kick, tangy and even options for chocolate lovers. Of course, they’ll also offer the Dr. Pepper collab, although I’m not sure how to describe that potential taste.
