Kaizer Chiefs surprised many by announcing the acquisition of former Mamelodi Sundowns star Lebohang Maboe on Tuesday.
The Glamour Boys are building a squad worthy of competing with rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
And Maboe will undoubtedly add some much needed bite to the Amakhosi midfield.

Kaizer Chiefs FC have confirmed the jersey number allocated to their new star.
Lebohang Maboe will don the famous jersey number six at Naturena!
Previously, Amakhosi midfield maestro Reneilwe Letsholonyane wore the number six jersey for nearly a decade at Naturena.
Prior to ‘Yeye’, fellow Amakhosi legends Fabian McCarthy and Nhlanhla Kubheka also wore it.
Kaizer Chiefs next face arch rivals Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday evening. It remains to be seen whether Maboe will be eligible for selection to face his former side!
