WWE Clash In Paris got off to a chaotic start with a former world champion stretchered out after the opening match.
With over 30,000 fans packed into the Paris La Défense Arena, tonight’s premium live event kicked off with a heavyweight brawl between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed.
The Tribal Chief picked up the win after a physical encounter with the Aussie giant, but Bronson and The Vision got the last laugh.
After the bell, Bron Breakker sent Roman crashing through the announce table with a massive Spear, and it only got worse from there.
Together, Bron and Bronson unleased a devastated attack on the decorated former world champion, including multiple Tsunamis while he was strapped to a spinal board.
Jey Uso came out to help but got laid out too, just hours before he’s meant to face CM Punk, LA Knight and Seth Rollins for the latter’s World Heavyweight Title.

Eventually, the duo dispersed and Roman was loaded onto a stretchered properly and wheeled out of the arena.
Roman had vowed to accompany Jey to the ring for the main event, but it seems increasingly unlikely that both stars will be out later tonight.
In another twist, general manager Adam Pearce kicked Bronson and Bron out of the arena and threatened to suspend them if they get anywhere near Seth’s match.

Meanwhile, Roman is not thought to be legitimately injured, although it’s likely the attack is being used to write Tribal Chief has been written off television for the next few weeks.
He’s due to get filming on the upcoming Street Fighter live action movie, which has also kept Cody Rhodes away from the ring in recent weeks.
The American Nightmare is playing Guile in the movie, while Roman is reported to have been cast as Akuma.

As for Clash In Paris, John Cena will wrestle in Europe for the final time before his December retirement as he takes on Logan Paul.
Elsewhere, the WWE Tag Team Titles are on the line with Wyatt Sicks duo Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy battling the Street Profits’ Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford.
Becky Lynch is also putting her gold up for grabs as she faces Nikki Bella, while Rusev and Sheamus collide in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match.
WWE Clash In Paris is live on Netflix.
