Malisha has broken her silence after being dumped from Love Island 2025. Just days after joining the show as a bombshell, she was sent packing when she wasn’t chosen in a recoupling, and new boy Harrison didn’t choose her after their date. It was all quite brutal.
During her short time in the villa, Malisha had been getting to know Dejon. He was coupled up with Meg. Despite telling Meg he was happy with her, cracks between them did begin to show, and it looked as though Dejon might recouple. Meg and Malisha had some pretty heated conversations, including some shady comments made about Tape, and in the end, Dejon stuck with Meg.
Following her exit, Malisha has addressed everything that went down. When asked how she felt about the situation, given things got so fiery with Meg, she said: “I don’t regret anything, I did what I needed to do as a bombshell. Sometimes the reactions were a bit uncalled for.
“I did go into the first chat with an open mind and I said I don’t want to have any arguments. Then it just got heated. I’m not here for the drama… a lot of it was miscommunication. Dejon was telling her one thing and telling me another. It was a mix up that wasn’t necessary. They act like they’re not closed, but they are closed off.”

She also addressed if she thought Meg and Dejon were legit, and could go the distance. Spoiler alert: She doesn’t sound too convinced.
“They’re just confused. That’s the best word to say,” Malisha very matter of factly said. “They’re saying they’re open but they’re really not. Time will tell.” However, she did add: “But again, no bad blood. Meg’s a lovely girl, I wish them all the best.”
As for her plans now, Malisha said she’s keeping a firm eye on Shea. She said if things don’t work out between him and Yasmin, she’ll slide into his DMs. Watch this space!
