Mamelodi Sundowns’ hierarchy have shown commitment to coach Miguel Cardoso after Sunday’s 3-2 aggregate shock loss to Pyramids FC.
The club stunned the continent last season after former coach Rulani Mokwena was shown the door after his Sundowns team failed to win the CAF Champions League.
Mokwena’s team lost to Cardoso’s Esperance in the semi-finals.
MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STICK WITH MIGUEL CARDOSO
Despite Miguel’s failure to make Kabo Yellow the African champions for the first time since 2016, the Tshwane giants are reportedly going forward with the Portuguese coach in charge of Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns superstar Teboho Mokoena hosted his annual U16 schools football tournament in his hometown of Bethlehem in the Free State.
While Sundowns were leaving for the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday, the 28-year-old Mokoena spent his final weekend in Mzansi with his community.
