A man has been jailed for 14 years for child sex offences including rape and blackmail against 41 children.
Stuart Latham, 22, ‘catfished’ the children into believing he was a 14-year-old boy and bribed them to provide him with indecent images in return for cash or gift cards.
Latham, from Wigan, has been sentenced at Preston crown court for child sexual offences including rape, blackmail, making indecent images and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
When he was arrested, police found a phone hidden in the back of a wardrobe containing thousands of child sex abuse images – including videos up to an hour long.
Greater Manchester Police say the case is one of the largest multi-victim online child sex abuse cases it’s ever investigated.
