AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – A man is behind bard for a crime that was allegedly committed 35 years ago!
Reports say in April 1991, then 21-year-old Frank Hodges, allegedly tried to steal a car his was test-driving.
Hodges reportedly pulled a pistol on the victim in the parking lot of the then K-mart store on East Martintown Road in North Augusta.
Presently, there’s a Beall’s Outlet and a Ross clothing store in that location.
Hodges was arrested August 25th, 2025 and charged with Armed Robbery w/ a Deadly Weapon.
He has since bonded out of the Aiken County Jail.
