A Florida man allegedly urinated on $10,000 worth of Spam and canned Vienna sausages at a wholesale retailer and forced them to be thrown away.
Patrick Francis Mitchell, 70, was caught peeing on the pallets at Sam’s Club in the Village of Piedmont.
A woman shopping at the store spotted Mitchell ‘urinating in Aisle 18’, states a probable cause affidavit from the Lady Lake Police Department.
The woman took a photo of the weird act with her cell phone and showed it to workers at the store.
Employees looked at CCTV footage showing that Mitchell ‘walked up to two pallets, facing the shelf, placed both hands in front of him below the belt line, and stood there for several seconds’, states the affidavit.
It was ‘behavior consistent with urination’, it reads.
Mitchell has been charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
