Napoli have made a new offer to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho – but one that still falls short of their valuation.
Garnacho is one of five players who have been told to find a new club following his public falling out with Ruben Amorim in the wake of May’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
Along with Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, the Argentina international has been told to stay away from pre-season training in order to find a new club.
Chelsea have been credited with interest in the 21-year-old since the turn of the year while Napoli were close to sealing a move in the January transfer window.
Napoli agreed a deal with United but the move fell through with the Serie A champions unable to agree a deal with the player which was in in line with their wage structure.

Antonio Conte’s side have now returned with another offer for Garnacho, the Mirror report. But their £45m bid still falls short of the £60m United are demanding.
The Premier League giants are desperate to raise further funds through player sales with Garnacho representing their most valuable asset.

They have been unable to find permanent transfer options for Rashford, Sancho and Antony with talks to move the trio on now set to drag into the club’s pre-season plans.
Napoli have already made major additions to their title-winning squad with Kevin de Bruyne arriving from Manchester City. They are also in talks to sign Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez.

United have remained in negotiations with Napoli with hope of striking a deal to move Garnacho on.
The winger was dropped from United’s starting XI for the Europa League final in May with Mason Mount taking his place in the side.
After the game, the former Atletico Madrid youngster took aim at his manager in an interview with the Argentine media.
‘Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today – I don’t know,’ Garnacho said. ‘I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.’
