A man’s body was found on the premises of a school in Wolverhampton.
Students at Smestow Academy discovered the remains this morning while getting ready for PE, according to a resident.
After the discovery at around 10.40am today, all pupils were sent home and a police investigation was launched.
The force is now working to confirm the man’s identity and the circumstances around his death.
A notice on the school’s website reads: ‘School is closing due to an unconnected police incident from 1pm today.’
