Marine aid to 11 thousand people due to rains and deploys more than 4 thousand elements

According to the Chief of the General Staff of Semar, José Manuel Salinas Pérez, they have integrated 15 emergency response brigades.

In addition, with the purpose of providing continuity to operations and having efficient communication, it has deployed five Starlink antennas, 59 satellite equipment and 151 radio frequency equipment.

Likewise, it has provided vehicles, planes, helicopters, ships, boats, drones, water treatment plantsmobile kitchens, heavy machinery equipment.

“To date, 22,338 Semar food supplies have been delivered and in support of other agencies. The population of the states of Veracruz, San Luis Potosí, Puebla and Hidalgo”said Salinas Pérez.

Navy actions for the victims

He detailed that 13,137 medical services have been provided, 8,204 transfers to shelters, 539 roads cleared, 17,323 cubic meters of garbage, mud and debris removed, 4,927 trees and spectaculars removed, 25,829 hot rations delivered, 163,799 liters of purified water and 94,680 liters of bottled water delivered.

Furthermore, in coordination with the Secretary of National Defense and other units, there are 19 helicopters, having carried out 302 air operations, allowing the medical evacuation of 66 people in hard-to-reach populations.

And air bridges have been established allowing us to reach priority attention communities to deliver 9,736 food items, 26,979 liters of water delivered, 11.2 tons of health supplies and medicines, 2,140 pieces of cleaning supplies, 2 tons of food, 330 kilograms of dog food, 30 baby kits and 1,808 blankets and mats.
