Pedro Cardoso, owner of the restaurant Solar dos Presuntosalso in Lisbon, highlights on the same social network the “huge honor” for “the award of this prestigious prize”. “We received this distinction with deep pride and a sense of responsibility”, he highlights, thanking his family, “especially my daughter Carolina — who accompanies me every day and is a fundamental pillar in everything I do” and also to the “extraordinary collaborators, from all areas” to whom he leaves “a word of immense gratitude. Without them, none of this would be possible. They are the ones who, on a daily basis, support the work, rigor and excellence that represent Solar dos Presuntos”.
Pedro Cardoso also highlighted “all colleagues in our sector, who struggle daily, often without due recognition, but who continue to elevate gastronomy, products and restaurants in Portugal with dedication and merit”, also leaving a word of thanks to “business partners, for the continuous trust and collaboration that allows us to evolve and innovate” and to customers: “thank you for believing in what we do every day. You are the ones who give meaning to our work”.
It is worth remembering that Marlene Vieira was recognized in April and for the second consecutive year, with a Silver Fork, at the Marlene restaurant, in the Guia Boa Cama Boa Mesa 2025, a publication that also distinguished Solar dos Presuntos, with a Golden Fork. THE chef In February this year, it won its first Michelin star.
