An OnlyFans star who quit football after being caught inhaling balloons has returned to the sport.
Madelene Wright, who joined OnlyFans in 2022, left her position in women’s pro football after she was seen inhaling balloons at a party.
She has now signed for Chatham Town Women, a National League side which is the third tier of women’s football in the UK.
The club extended a warm welcome to the athlete on X, where it was “delighted” to have her join the squad.
Now earning 500k a year alone from OnlyFans, here is a lowdown on the team’s newest hotshot.
Madelene Wright originally played for Charlton WFC
Before joining OnlyFans, Madelene played at Charlton WFC as a forward. She joined in January of 2020, but was then let go later that year after a controversial video was posted to her Snapchat.
The video shows Madelene inhaling from a balloon. Another video then showed her drinking from a bottle of champagne whilst driving her luxury Range Rover.
The club was immediately made aware of the situation and she was let go in December of 2020. The club also made clear that she was still able to access support channels.
She was born in the USA and is 26 years old
Madelene was born in the USA on September 18th 1998, making her 26 years old. She moved to England before taking up football as her sport of choice.
Madelene makes £500,000 annually on OnlyFans
Despite returning to football with Chatham Town, she has no plans to halt her OnlyFans activities. She began to create content on the platform in 2022, and makes over £500,000 annually.
With a subscription fee of £24 a month, she ranks at number six for the most liked sports stars on OnlyFans, according to Sportbible. Madelene has also got a large following of over 324,000 on Instagram, where she posts both raunchy content and football behind the scenes.
Describing hesitations about posting adult content, the footballer and OnlyFans creator previously told The Sun in 2022: “My main reason not to do it was the reputation it had. I didn’t want to be associated with that kind of thing.
“But when you weigh up the pros and cons, and after doing it for a full year, I know I made the right decision.”
Madelene has played for four football clubs
Before signing for Chatham Town WFC and playing at Charlton Town, the footballer and OnlyFans creator has also been a forward at both Millwall and Leyton Orient. She is the latest hotshot to be joining Chatham Town WFC.
As she steps back onto the pitch, this time wearing the colours of Chatham Town Women, all eyes will be on her. Not just for what she brings to the game, but for how far she’s come.
