First Lady Melania Trump accompanied her husband, President Donald Trump, in welcoming a Gaza hostage
Edan Alexander, an American citizen who was held hostage in Gaza until he was released in May, met with the Trumps in the White House on Thursday.
President Trump thanked him for visiting and said that his wife particularly was concerned about him.
‘The first lady, it was very important to her,’ he said.
He added that he was also worried that Alexander could be killed in an airstrike while he was held in a Hamas tunnel.
