The Intercampus barometer, published this Friday in Correio da Manhã, Negócios, Now and CMTV, indicates that a technical tie remains in the race for the presidential elections. But now, this draw puts Luís Marques Mendes in first place (16.6% of voting intentions), followed closely by Andre Ventura (15.8%) and only then Gouveia e Melowhich maintains a downward trend — it had around 20% of voting intentions before the summer.
Already António José Seguroappears in fourth place on the list, with 12.3%. The former leader of the PS is halfway between the front group and those who follow, with the former leader of the IL, not far behind him, Cotrim de Figueiredo (8.4%) and Catarina Martins, former coordinator of Bloco de Esquerda, with 7.1%. António Filipe, from PCP, closes the list with 4.6%.
If in this barometer the president of Chega is in second, which opens the door for him to compete in the predictable second round of the presidential elections, it also shows that Ventura is behind all potential opponents in this final round. Appears to lose and at a long distance from Gouveia e Melo, Marques Mendes and Seguro. If this second round is among others, it would look like this for now: Mendes ahead of Gouveia and Melo (by 4.2 points), the admiral beating Seguro (by 3.1 points), Mendes beating Seguro (by almost 10 points).
