Metro CDMX deploys orientation brigades for attendees of the Mexican Grand Prix

The Mexico City Metro Collective Transportation Service reported, by order of the Head of Government, Clara Brugada, that it deployed orientation brigades in the facilities of the stations near the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez to support those attending the Mexican Grand Prix.

According to a statement issued by the CDMX Government, the Ministry of Mobility and the Metro, the user service and service operation will be carried out at correspondence stations such as Puebla, Ciudad Deportiva and Velodromo.

Users will be able to identify the members of the brigades because they will wear a mint green vest and will be trained to guide users during their transfers to the racetrack and guide them regarding transfers, schedules, mobility card recharges and vending machines.

On the other hand, they specified that on Sunday, October 26, the service on Line 9 that goes from Pantitlán to Tacubaya of the Metro will begin at 06:00 a.m., while the rest of the lines will operate at their usual Sunday schedule of 07:00 a.m.

The Metro announced that it will increase the number of trains in operation from 12 to 18 during the Mexican Grand Prix to provide a more agile service and reduce waiting times.

Finally, the transportation service urged users to maintain responsible behavior within the facilities.
