Metro guarantees mobility for the Mexican Grand Prix

A few days before a new edition of the Mexican Grand Prixhe CDMX Metro guaranteed that its network is an effective way to attend this event. Through a statement, the Public Transport System (STC) reiterated that Line 9 is a very useful option for those users who attend the festival of the Formula 1.

Let us remember that the race that will take place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez will bring together a large number of people in the Ciudad Deportiva area. Due to this, the transportation system reiterated that the Velodrome, Ciudad Deportiva and Puebla stations are the ideal ones for users who do not arrive in their own car.

In addition to this, the authorities of this transportation system assured that security in the vicinity of the event and within the Metro will be guaranteed. This is because elements of the SSC will be deployed to the east of the capital on the occasion of the Mexican Grand Prix.

Let us remember that the actions within the circuit will begin next Friday, October 24, with the pilots’ tests. After that, the classification will be carried out on Saturday and finally the big race on the afternoon of Sunday, October 26.

Lastly, the Metro reminded users attending the event that The hours for race day will be from 07:00 to 24:00. This is because the public transportation system operates under the schedule established for Sundays.
