Sheinbaum and Lula da Silva agreed to meet soon to continue discussing cooperation issues between Mexico and Brazil.
Mexico City, October 31 (However).- The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardospoke this Friday with the President of Brazil, Luis Ignacio Lula da Silvain order to discuss economic issues, such as treated commercial between the two nations, and cooperation binational.
During the conversation, the federal president took the opportunity to thank her counterpart for the visit of the Vice President Geraldo Alckminwho made a work tour in Mexican territory last August.

Sheinbaum published a message on his X account, formerly Twitter, in which he reported that he held a meeting with Lula da Silva, during which they addressed issues such as economic complementarity and opportunities for collaboration between Mexico and Brazil. In addition, both agreed to continue bilateral cooperation.
In her publication, the president included a photograph in which she appears next to the Brazilian President during a past meeting that took place at the National Palace.
In turn, the Brazilian President explained that during his conversation with Sheinbaum he reiterated his willingness to conclude a new trade agreement with Mexico “to deepen the economic alliance between our countries.”

Lula da Silva also revealed that Mexico and Brazil could reach a collaboration agreement to produce ethanol, in addition to implementing social programs in the South American country, similar to those implemented by the Mexican Government.
“President Sheinbaum expressed her interest in cooperating with us in the production of ethanol to satisfy growing domestic demand and in the implementation of social programs to combat hunger and poverty,” said the Brazilian president in a publication on X.
