Millie Bobby Brown – who now goes by Millie Bonnie Bongiovi – looked every bit the relaxed new mum as she enjoyed a cosy winter stroll with husband Jake Bongiovi and their baby this week.
The couple were spotted bundled up in warm coats, laughing together as they walked side by side in New York City, taking a quiet moment away from their busy schedules.
Millie, 21, kept things low-key and practical, wearing her little one in a front baby carrier tucked securely beneath her coat.
The Stranger Things star appeared completely at ease, smiling and laughing as she chatted with Jake, 23, who matched her chilled vibe in his own layered look, at one point placing a tender kiss on his wife’s forehead.
As for the little one, whom the couple has kept mainly out of the public eye, little could be seen besides a tiny head of dark hair.
It’s been a big year for Millie and Jake, who quietly welcomed their first child via adoption and have kept their family life private.
Millie and Jake – rocker Jon Bon Jovi’s son – got married last year and later announced in August that they had adopted a baby girl, with Millie describing motherhood as a ‘beautiful, amazing journey’.
She told British Vogue: ‘It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey– she’s taught us so much already. Perspective is a huge thing.
‘The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.’
Millie and Jake confirmed the news of their new addition in a joint statement on social media in August.
‘This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,’ the message read.
‘We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.’
‘And then there were 3. Love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’
Millie, who is British Vogue’s December cover star, told the publication how she and Jake ‘definitely’ want more kids, pointing out her husband is one of four.
She added that she doesn’t see adopting as any different from having a biological child.
In another interview with Vanity Fair in their March cover story, Millie opened up about her life with Jake on their huge farm in rural Georgia surrounded by sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, horses, and 10 dogs.
Discussing their secret marriage, Millie explained in the interview that they thought it through carefully before making the commitment.
‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,’ Millie said.
‘It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.’
