According to the official, the Japanese company decided to move a line of manufacturing abroad as part of an internal global reorganization strategy.
“It is a partial closure. They take a production line to another country, but the company continues to operate in San Juan del Río,” said Landeras Layseca.
The movement responds to international changes in tariff policies and manufacturing markets.

The head of the agency, Liliana San Martín Castillo, reported that on October 30 and 31, Secretariat personnel will go to the plant facilities.
