This is the moment a desperate dog owner chased a thief who stuffed her puppy in a backpack.

Jolene Cooper is seen pursuing the thief after they grabbed her nine-week old chihuahua and squeezed it into a rucksack.

A horrific clip of the incident shows the puppy snatcher running off while his bag is shown shaking as the frightened pet attempts to break free.

The terrified pet is heard squealing after a woman entered the property and shoved it in her bag.

Jolene, 14, then chased after the thug, shouting ‘what the f*** are you doing’.
