Mooneerams Solicitors is celebrating a major milestone – 23 years as a respectable personal injury law firm, which is no mean feat.
Mooneerams Solicitors is a law firm that prides itself on acting solely on claimants in personal injury cases for over two decades.
The Cardiff-based law firm was founded in 2002 by solicitors Vin Mooneeram and Alistair Worth.
Mooneerams bucked the status quo and founded their firm with the ethos they would solely represent claimants, instead of taking instructions from other parties, such as insurance companies, employers.
Mooneerams claimed it was told they would not be successful in a highly competitive industry by working solely with individuals who have been injured, but the co-founders have proved the naysayers wrong as it celebrates almost a quarter of a century.
Alistair and Vin launched their business in 2002 with limited funds, and the support of their family. Vin’s mother offered up a spare bedroom as an office for the pair. But now, Mooneerams is an established and award-winning claimant-only personal injury firm.
Though Mooneerams is based in Wales, it also offers support to clients across England too. And the makeshift spare bedroom office has expanded exponentially; now the business operates in offices across South Wales, Bristol and London, though it continues to grow.
Speaking about the brand’s success, Managing Director, Alistair Worth, said: ‘Everyone said it wouldn’t last. We are so proud that Mooneerams was the first and remains the only purely claimant firm of personal injury solicitors in Wales.
