Myleene Klass has warned those who ‘have reason to’ be afraid, following claims her ex-husband cheated on her with a well-known female celebrity.
Myleene told Paul Brunson on the We Need To Talk podcast, 47, was reflecting on her past in an emotional podcast that saw her open up about her previous marriage.
The star was married for two years to her Irish bodyguard Graham Quinn, initially meeting in 2001, marrying in 2011, and divorcing two years later in 2013.
Speaking about their relationship, she revealed that she caught him about to sleep with a ‘famous person’ while in her own home for her birthday.
The presenter, musician, and campaigner declined to name the woman involved at the time.
Now, Klass has taken to Instagram with what appears to be a veiled warning to those ‘who probably have reason to’ be afraid, declaring she ‘won’t keep her mouth shut’ and has ‘receipts.’ Her statement comes as she reflects on a momentous few weeks in both her personal and professional life.
Alongside a photograph of her recently awarded MBE – for services to women’s health, miscarriage awareness, and charity – Klass shared a heartfelt message with her followers.
‘Wow. What a week it’s been!’ she wrote. ‘Firstly, thank you. I have quite literally tens of thousands of messages of love and support for me and my family. I took a long time to learn there’s strength in vulnerability.’
The message continued with a rundown of the week’s high and low points, including a viral interview, a dramatic family mishap involving passports and the Adriatic Sea, and her participation in a lifesaving mission with St John Ambulance.
She wrote: ‘At 47, I’ve finally found my voice and it’s clear, unapologetic and brutally honest,’ she said.
‘To those that fear its truth, you probably have reason to. I have receipts. To those that need to hear it, I’ve got you—and I fully intend to continue using it to change the laws and legislation that neglect women and children in this country and around the world.’
Who is Myleene Klass’ ex-husband?
Myleene’s ex-husband is Graham Quinn, whom she met in 2001 when she was still performing in the band Hear’Say.
Graham was a bodyguard for the band, and Myleene said that she met him at a ‘vulnerable’ time in her life and felt he was a ‘protector’.
On 21 October 2011, Klass and Quinn married, with sixteen people in attendance.
Four and a half years after her divorce, the star met Simon Motson, who was introduced to her through a friend. The couple shares a son named Apollo, born in 2019.
Klass ended her message with a pointed Bible verse: ‘And the truth will set you free’ (John 8:32), followed by her own emphatic addendum: ‘And then some.’
In the viral podcast, she revealed the details of the incident that ended her marriage.
She claimed she saw her now ex-husband and the mystery woman were taking off each other’s clothes and immediately tried to claim that it wasn’t what it looked like, she explained: ‘I’m in my house, it’s my party. They weren’t having sex, but they were unzipping each other.
She continued: ‘They said: “It’s not what you think.” But I’m like, “It is what I think.” It’s the first thing they both said.’
When asked her reaction, she revealed: ‘I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said: “He doesn’t get it from me”.’
‘I was like “Ok,” I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say.’
Myleene, who is now married to PR guru Simon Motson, said that he later blamed the ‘drink’.
‘I’ve made peace with that situation now but for a long time it was very difficult to see their life… Not that I would wish that on a family.
‘I don’t know, I feel conflicted.
‘But my life literally just broke apart very, very publicly,’ the musician explained.
‘And their life, they’ve managed to continue building a family brand on it and it felt so difficult for a long time. This is the person I caught him with,’ she said without giving any details about the person she caught him with.
