Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly travelled to Europe without their captain.
This comes after Yusuf Maart and Chiefs were unable to find each other in their opening contract talks.
Maart’s contract ended last month at Naturena, however the club and the player swiftly entered into extension talks.

Kaizer Chiefs captain Yusuf Maart is yet to agree to a new deal at Naturena.
Maart led the club to the Nedbank Cup trophy, ending their 10-year wait for silverware.
After ending the season on a high, Maart’s extension was a top priority for the club.
However, the latest reports from Naturena is that no deal has been reached at the time of writing this article.
In fact, Maart hasn’t travelled to the Netherlands with his teammates for their crucial pre-season camp according to Unplayable.
Further reports suggest the player could be on his way out of the club after attracting interest from Europe!
Yusuf Maart made 95 appearances for Chiefs since joining the club back in 2022, as per Transfermarkt.

Can Chiefs afford to lose Maart?
How big of a loss will Yusuf Maart be if the midfielder indeed moves to a European club? In terms of new arrivals at the club, a direct Maart replacement hasn’t been signed just yet.
Kaizer Chiefs have welcomed Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett and Siphesihle Ndlovu to the club so far this window.
