A new Banksy artwork has appeared outside the High Court in London, it is understood.
The black and white graffiti, appearing to depict a judge wielding a gavel, attacking someone on the floor, has been covered by Westminster council.
Photographs from the scene show the person on the ground is holding a blank sign covered in blood.

Joe Syer, the founder of MyArtBroker, a Banksy brokerage, stressed to Metro that the elusive artist himself needs to confirm the work’s authenticity, often doing so on his anonymous social media accounts.

Syer added: ‘This would be very much in keeping with Banksy’s long tradition of subverting icons of authority – from Rude Copper to Queen Victoria – placing figures of power in compromising or “naughty” situations.
‘The reason it feels so emotive is because it deliberately offends our cultural assumptions about those in power, challenging how we see them.
‘At a time when arrests linked to protest and free speech are drawing national attention, the work feels particularly pointed and timely.
‘Whether confirmed or not, it reflects the potency of street art to capture and amplify the public mood.’
