Bluey has become one of the most popular children’s icons in recent years, and she’s going on adventure in a new game called Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen. The game will be available to download on iOS devices tomorrow and a new trailer is out now.
The game’s trailer, which can be watched here, depicts the game’s adventure-style, with Bluey and Bingo embarking on a journey to take the titular Gold Pen back from her father, as simple drawings create a whole new world, one in which Bluey’s dad declares himself King Goldie Horns.
The game features nine levels, including beaches, snowy mountains, forests, and the Australian Outback. Players will be able to solve puzzles and play mini games on Bluey’s quest.
Developed by Brisbane-based Halfbrick Studios, probably best known for Fruit Ninja, Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen features fully animated cutscenes and characters. All of the TV show’s voice actors are also reprising their roles for the game.
What might be most notable is the game is being written by Bluey creator, Joe Brumm. “Writing Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen and seeing the game come to life has been a lot of fun, and I’m excited for families to play and experience the world of Bluey in a way that only imagination can make possible,” said Brumm.
Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen will be available tomorrow, December 11, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The game is free-to-try and will be $14.99 to unlock the full game.
The game will launch on January 10, 2026, on the Google Play store. It will also be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S for $39.99, sometime in 2026. There will also be a Nintendo Switch 2 version released in 2026 that will be $49.99.
