Bad Bunny is giving something extra to his fans at Super Bowl LX. Fresh ‘fits in support of the big game.
He and the NFL have teamed up to release two limited-edition fashion collections. The shirts and accessories of the “Concho” collection will be available to purchase in person and online during Super Bowl week. The design is based on his frog character, “Concho,” and will reflect his playful way with fashion. Fans will recognize the Puerto Rican symbol Bad Bunny uses in music visuals. Some shirts will also have the Bad Bunny eye logo on the sleeve or cuff. Fans can buy t-shirts, hats, and keychains, too.
According to the New York Times, this collaboration was the work of music and fashion company Ceremony of Roses. The “Fans/Concho Collection” dropped Jan. 24 on the NFL’s official online shop for fans to pre-order. Hoodies are are $100, t-shirts are $55, adjustable caps are $60, and plushie “Concho” keychains are $40, available in all 32 NFL team colors.
The NFL merchandise will feature Spanish translations of Super Bowl branding, a first for the franchise. It also reflects Bad Bunny’s lengua materna, aka mother tongue, as it will be reflected in is songs sung in Spanish during the halftime show, making a unique splash for the game.
Following his performance during the halftime show, Bad Bunny and the NFL will drop the second collection, “Super Tazon,” which means Super Bowl in Spanish, and merchandise will all be in Spanish. Green Day and the Counting Crows will play during the opening ceremony, so it should be an excellent day for music overall.
