Nicola Peltz reportedly receives a staggering $1,000,000 (£725,000) monthly allowance from her billionaire father.
The model, actress and socialite has come under the spotlight in recent years after marrying David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn, 26.
However last week he dropped a bombshell statement – taking aim at his parents who he accused of ‘controlling’ him and trying to ‘ruin his relationship’ with his wife, whom he married in 2022.
Although Nicola is yet to publicly weigh in on the family drama, she notably deleted all traces of her in-laws on social media a few weeks ago and has since shared a series of photos with her husband enjoying a luxury holiday in California.
However, it’s now emerged that Nicola, 31, gets a jaw-dropping amount of money dropped into her account by her billionaire dad, Nelson Peltz, every few weeks.
Speaking on this week’s episode of The Rest is Entertainment podcast, presenter Marina Hyde claimed: ‘From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.’
‘Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this, but I hear that he said to them that “I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance”.
‘The one thing they [the Beckhams] didn’t think their children would be doing would be the ones signing the prenuptial, they thought it would be the other way round.’
David and Victoria Beckham are believed to be worth $680million (£493million).
How did Nelson Peltz make his fortune?
Nicola’s dad is an 83-year-old American billionaire businessman and investor, who co-founded Trian Partners, an alternative investment management fund based in New York.
He is also a former director of Heinz, Mondelēz International, and Ingersoll Rand, as well as a former chief executive of Triangle Industries.
Nelson is thought to have a net worth of approximately $1.7billion (£1.3billion).
In February 2014, Forbes listed Nelson as one of the 25 highest-earning hedge-fund managers, with total earnings of $430million (£329million).
In 2017, he was ranked as the 432nd richest person in the United States. The businessman also notably previously helped organise political fundraisers for US President Donald Trump.
In 1964, Nelson married Cynthia Abrams, daughter of Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corporation co-founder Benjamin Abrams. The couple had two children together before divorcing in 1981.
Four years later, he married second wife, Claudia Heffner, a former fashion model, with whom he has eight children.
They include businessman Matthew, former ice hockey player Brad, actor Will, children’s clothes designer Brittany, tech entrepreneur Darren, and twins Zachary and Gregory, as well as Nicola.
How much has he already splashed on his daughter?
When it came to his daughter’s wedding, Nelson apparently splashed $3.5million (£2.5million) on the celebrations – which was held at the family’s $103million (£74million) estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
Around 500 guests attended, with Snoop Dogg also performing a DJ set. It was also reported that over $100,000 was spent on the bridal party’s hair and make-up.
The couple – who it was said signed a pre-nup ahead of their lavish wedding – currently live in a £11million mansion in Hollywood, but it’s been reported Nicola is the primary owner.
Last year a source told The Sun that the Peltz family felt the Beckhams have not been providing amply for their son, saying: ‘Money, so the saying goes, is the root of all evil. Certainly, in the case of the Beckhams vs Peltzes, it’s proven… tricky.
‘David and Victoria are two working-class kids done good. When it came to buying this house, of course they weren’t just going to hand their son millions of pounds – what sort of message does that send?’
What do Nicola and Brooklyn do for work?
Over the years Brooklyn has famously copped a bit of flack for his string of career aspirations.
He first began modelling professionally in 2014, appearing in the pages and on the covers of publications including Vogue China, Miss Vogue, The New York Times Style Magazine and Dazed Korea. He’s also been a brand ambassador for Huawei and Superdry.
At the same time, he was also playing in the Arsenal F.C. Academy but left in 2015 after not receiving a scholarship.
How could Nicola possibly spend $1,000,000 a month?
While many of us one day dream of winning the lottery, it’s likely we’d actually struggle to spend a staggering $1,000,000 (£735,000) in a single month…every month.
So, inspired by Nicola’s apparent allowance from her billionaire father, the Metro Entertainment team got brainstorming…
£60,000 on mortgage repayments – While there’s every chance Nicola purchased her £11million LA home outright, she could be allocating a significant chunk of her monthly allowance on paying off the property.
£30,000 on a luxury holiday – This week Nicola shared snaps from a recent stay at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, where rooms can be up to £9,000 a night. With the couple appearing to have spent a few nights away, a decent chunk would have been spent on the hotel.
£20,000 on eating out – With her husband a budding chef, we imagine the couple like to also take their chance to enjoy the best of the LA food scene.
£30,000 on dog grooming – Nicola regularly post photos of her four dogs Lamb, Label, Birdie and Angel on social media. The pooches have likely got used to a life of luxury and while we have no clue how much dog grooming could cost in LA, there’s a chance Nicola could be getting nothing but the best for her furry friends
£80,000 on dog refuges- After Brooklyn slammed his mum for refusing to help Nicola ‘save displaced dogs’ during last year’s LA fires, we’d hope the actress’ sizeable allowance would go towards helping various rescue charities too.
£32,000 on wine – Bottles of 1831 Château d’Yquem. After Brooklyn posted a photo of this highly-sought after wine, it’s likely some of Nicola’s cash went on snapping up these two bottles in this month’s allowance.
£20,000 on hot sauce – After Brooklyn launched his premium, organic hot sauce brand Cloud23 two years ago, we’d love to see Nicola snapping up crates of the product because we love a supportive wife. Retailing at around £15 a bottle, she might be palming quite a bit off to family and friends though
£10,000on luxury handbags! In Nicola’s latest Instagram post she was photographed with a huge Chanel bag. Although it appears she practiced sustainability and rewore it throughout her trip, using the allowance to buy two designer handbags a month seems fair!
£2,000 on an Erewhon smoothie subscription- Because why not?

And that’s all our ideas! For those who have noticed that we are absolutely nowhere near the £735,000 spend, it turns out it feels genuinely quite impossible to splash that much cash in just a few weeks
The eldest Beckham child is also a keen photographer, working with Burberry on a campaign when he was just 16. However his hiring was criticised by several famous photographers, who called the move a ‘devaluation of photography’ and ‘sheer nepotism’.
In 2017, Brooklyn began a photography degree at Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York but dropped out within a year.
Despite this, his first book of photography, titled What I See, was published that year. However he faced ridicule for the snaps, including one infamous photograph of a dimly-lit shot of an elephant, which he captioned was ‘so hard to photograph’.
After trying his hand at photography, Brooklyn then turned his attention to cooking. In 2022, he published an online video series Cookin’ With Brooklyn, which reportedly cost around $100,000 per episode.
He’s also been mocked for pushing pretty basic recipes that have included a breakfast sandwich, and last year using ocean water to cook pasta.
Meanwhile Nicola has pursued a career in acting, having roles in the show Bates Motel and the 2014 movie Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Other credits include Deck the Halls, The Last Airbender and Holidate.
She’s also appeared in music videos for Miley Cyrus’ 7 Things and Zayn Malik’s It’s You.
Last year she made her writing and directorial debut as well as casting herself in her first leading role in her movie Lola, whilst she has also recently been promoting her role in the 2026 thriller Pretty Ugly.
This week the couple shared a series of snaps and videos from a recent stay at the historic San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California – where rooms are priced from £2,245 to £9,069 a night.
Brooklyn also went on to share a photo of two dusty bottles of 1831 Château d’Yquem – which costs an average of $23,000 (£16,687) a bottle.
