Liam Gallagher hasn’t tweeted in three months, but the frontman of Oasis just broke his silence to pay tribute to the boxing legend, Ricky Hatton, who sadly, has died at the age of 46. Gallagher, along with his brother Noel, once carried Hatton’s championship belts into the ring, way back in November 2008, when the boxer faced Paulie Malignaggi.
A prolific and often controversial tweeter, Gallagher has not posted on social media one time since the historic Oasis reunion concert kicked off on July 4, 2025. However, the moment of Hatton’s death was enough to bring Gallagher back to Twitter. Here’s what he said.
