MÉRIDA.- After a long illness and at the age of 86, yesterday in this city the lady Sara Elena Mézquita Sánchez, widow of Mendozawho was dedicated to teaching.
Trainer of basic education teachers during the educational reform of 1988-1994, she was a member and founder of the Mérida Lions Club, where she served as president of the Ladies Committee.
Born on May 4, 1939 in the marriage of Messrs. Eduardo Mézquita Rodríguez and Elda Sánchez López, in June 1964 she married Dr. Jorge Mendoza Blanco (RIP), with whom she had four children: Jorge Eduardo, Mario Alberto (RIP), Sary de Fernández and Rolan (RIP).
The body was cremated and the ashes will be deposited in a crypt of the church of María Inmaculada (Campestre subdivision) today after the seven in the afternoon mass.
In addition to his children, he is survived by his political children Alma Uicab Chan and Luis Enrique Fernández Baqueiro; sister Elda María (Lydia del Carmen, Eduardo and Rolan have already passed away); political brother Clemente Jiménez Lora (Luis Contreras Negroe and Nora Avilés de Mézquita have already died); grandchildren Mendoza Cetina, Mendoza Morales, Fernández Mendoza and Mendoza Uicab; nephews Contreras Mézquita, Mézquita Avilés, Jiménez Mézquita, Aguilar Mendoza, Mendoza Hijuelos, Mendoza Ruz and Mendoza Medrano, and other relatives.
