AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – One person is dead after a shooting incident, early Sunday morning.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to calls of shots fired on the 4200 block of Windsor Spring Road just before 1:30 a.m.
Once there, deputies located one man down, shot at least once. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
No suspect information has been released.
