SANDERSVILLE, Ga. (WJBF) – On Sunday, July 27th, just before midnight the Sandersville Police Department along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to 700 MLK JR AVE, Washington Manor Apartments in reference to a individual being shot.
Upon arriving on scene it was determined that two people had been shot.
One individual was found deceased on scene and the other individual was transported to Washington County Regional Medical Center.
GBI Eastman Office has been notified and is enroute to assist in this investigation.
Investigation is active and on-going.
