Why We Love This Deal
There are more running shoes on the market now than ever before, but it’s still hard to go wrong with a pair of Nikes. The Swoosh brand has been making its running shoes since the 1970s, and it just cut the price of one of its sleekest, cushiest pairs by almost $60.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Heel-to-toe drop: 10 mm
- Weight: 297 g/10.5 oz. (Size 10)
- Cushioning: ReactX foam midsole and dual Air Zoom units
- Sizes available: 6-12.5 (including half sizes), 13-15 (full sizes only)
Nike says this shoe offers its “most energized ride” thanks to the combination of Air Zoom units and springy foam, the latter of which is 13% more responsive than Nike’s previous foam technology.
The engineered mesh upper is an improvement on that of the Pegasus 40, which makes these shoes breathable and more lightweight. The rubber outsole has Nike’s signature waffle-inspired traction pattern, and the collar, tongue, and sockline are plush and secure.
These aren’t superlative shoes on any metric, including price, but it’s hard to find something they don’t do fairly well.

What Runners Are Saying
Reviewers love how comfortable and good-looking these shoes are, with many mentioning that they’re longtime fans of the Pegasus line. One customer, who’s had every Pegasus since the 37, called the 41 “the best one yet for what it is: a mileage workhorse.” They added that it’s “responsive, relatively lightweight, and stable enough to allow you to show up and log mile after mile after mile without it feeling like a chore.” There are higher-tech, flashier shoes on the market, but what most people need in a running shoe is what this one has.
A newcomer to Pegasus shoes agreed that these are definitely worth it. “I am really impressed with the comfort and support of this shoe,” which is “so much more comfortable than my previous Adidas shoes.”
If you’re looking for a solid pair of running shoes for short to moderate distances, Nike Pegasus 41 Running Shoes are a great option. They’re plenty comfortable and responsive, and they look great. The 40% price cut is a serious discount, one you won’t miss if you snag a pair of these ASAP.
