The influencer and rapper, Lil Tay, recently claimed that women over 25 who work nine-to-five jobs are a failure.
The 18-year-old went viral last week after dropping her OnlyFans link exactly one second after turning legal. She insisted that all of her content was filmed after her birthday. Her estranged dad, Chris Hope, said he fully supports her decisions. However, she also received a lot of backlash, including from her brother, who apparently threw her out of the house.
Lil Tay claimed her family has disowned her, and she has been on her own since launching OnlyFans. She said, “They don’t talk to me anymore. They don’t f*** with me. But who gives a s***. I can literally buy their whole life if I wanted to. I’m good. Also f*** education ‘cause Harvard was never gonna help me make eight figures. That’s why I dropped out of it and I dropped the link instead.”
She has previously spoken about planning to launch OnlyFans from a very young age. According to her, one of the main reasons she dropped the link so quickly was because people had been waiting and asking for it for a long time.
Lil Tay also revealed that she earned over $1 million in just three hours. She shared a screenshot of her income on Instagram and wrote, “$1M in 3 hours. We broke the f*** out of that OnlyFans record. Come see content I took of myself at 12:01AM on my 18th BDAY. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 24hrs.”

Lil Tay now claims that OnlyFans is the way forward and that every woman should “drop the link.” In an Instagram video, she said, “If you’re over the age of 25 and you’re still working a nine-to-five, you are a failure. Like, by then you should’ve already made your bag. And ladies, every single one of you should drop the link, like me. Literally just make your bag. Who gives a f*** what anybody thinks?”
Of course, her comments, along with her OnlyFans launch, have brought plenty of backlash. Some called her statements “disappointing” or “out of touch,” but she has been quick to clap back.
“For all the grown a*s haters who’ve been hating since I was nine years old, look at me now. You can hate all you want, you can’t say Lil Tay ain’t winning,” she said in one video.
