Orlando Pirates landed Oswin Appollis under the noses of Kaizer Chiefs, and they got a huge discount in the process.
23-year-old winger Appollis is now a Buccaneer and will wear the number 15 jersey.
This ends a long-standing transfer saga.
Orlando Pirates paid a knockdown fee for Appollis
According to KickOff, Orlando Pirates have landed an almighty coup in signing Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City. The Sea Robbers managed to pay only R12 million for the star winger despite Polokwane having a much larger number in mind.
“Aware that his (Appollis) contract was heading into its last 12 months, Polokwane then agreed to sell him to Pirates. Though the 23-year-old’s valuation has been placed at R20 million over the past year, it has been established that he will move to Pirates for 60% of that amount. This places the transfer fee in the region of R12 million.”

Pirates land Sebelebele
The Buccaneers have wrapped up the signing of 22-year-old winger Kamogelo Sebelebele from TS Galaxy. Last season, he made 26 league appearances, scoring four goals and assisting two. Sebelebele is already a proven PSL performer with 82 league outings in the past three seasons.
