Orlando Pirates: R21-million midfielder heading out

Orlando Pirates’ midfielder is heading out and he is not short of suitors.

Orlando Pirates have been the busiest of the PSL sides when it comes to their transfer business.

To date, the Bucs have released FIVE players. Now, their SIXTH player departure is imminent. It is not a case of if but rather who and when. Plans are already in motion for this midfielders departure.

PIRATES PLANNING TO RELEASE MIDFIELDER

Karim Kimvuidi departure out of Mayfair is already being planned.

“This is why discussions have been opened with Pirates indicating their desire to listen to offers and negotiate,” the insider stated on KickOff.

Moreover, Kimvuidi is actually searching for a new club.

“Kimvuidi is pursuing a move from Pirates after two years of battling to establish himself as a regular at the club despite all the potential he showed while at Maritzburg United,” the insider added.

So, Kimvuidi is looking for a new club and Pirates are willing to entertain offers for Kimvuidi.

The Bucs midfielder is not short of suitors either. Several clubs from Africa and Europe have expressed an interest in signing him.

“Kimvuidi has also had enquiries from Belgium club Royal Chaleroi while his name was also rubbed on Spanish second tier league club Real Racing Club de Santander,” he added.

Meanwhile, African giants TP Mazembe and Algerian club JS Kabyile have also made enquiries. However, JS Kabyile is not willing to pay over R3.5 million for the Pirates midfielder.

Interestingly, he is valued at roughly R21 million (R20.9 million), according to Transfermarkt.

BUCS NEW-LOOK SIDE BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE

Abdeslam Ouaddou will take charge of a very different looking side to the one Jose Riveiro left behind.

Pirates have signed a total of NINE new players from the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, PSL rivals, African giants as well as Bafana Bafana.

Whilst, a couple of big-name players are set to be unveiled by the Soweto giants.

Meanwhile, as mentioned, FIVE Bucs stars have left. Additionally, another FOUR Pirates players are heading out of Mayfair.
