These players ran out for Orlando Pirates against Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup. Now, they training their Soweto derby rivals.
Kaizer Chiefs have been spotted with several new facing in training from the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns as well as a couple of ex-Orlando Pirates players.
It appears the rumours are true as not one but to players have left the Bucs and they are now training with Amakhosi.
FROM PIRATES TO CHIEFS FOR MAKO AND MONYANE
Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane both recenty left Pirates.
Furthermore, they were both part of the four Bucs stars who have made way. Former Pirates club captain, Innocent Maela and midfielder Miguel Timm have both left Pirates.
Thus, opening the door to a new captain who will join the next Pirates coach as they usher in a new era.
Speaking of new era, Chiefs are set to unveil several new signings including Mako and Monyane. I am sure not many fans could have predicted seeing two Pirates players leaving the Bucs to join their Soweto derby rivals, Amakhosi.
BUCS AND AMAKHOSI RECRUITEMENT PROCESS UNDERWAY
Pirates have already signed SEVEN new players.
Meanwhile, the Bucs are closing in on a very sought-after Bafana Bafana attacker.
In contrast, Chiefs have reportedly signed these Pirates, Sundowns and Bafana Bafana stars. Whilst, Nasreddine Nabi’s transfer targets have been revealed. These are Chiefs main transfer targets in each position.
