Ozzy Osbourne’s official cause of death has been confirmed as ‘acute myocardial infarction’, according to new reports.

The Black Sabbath star died at the age of 76 on July 22 after years of health issues, including Parkinson’s.

His death certificate listed his cause of death as ‘acute myocardial infarction’ and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’, according to The Sun.

Just weeks before, he had played his final gig at his hometown of Birmingham to crowds of adoring fans.

Osbourne’s body returned to the city one last time on Wednesday last week for a procession through the streets, finishing at Black Sabbath Bridge.

He was then buried by the lake in the grounds of his Buckinghamshire mansion following a private church service.
