Jammie Dodgers unveils new flavour with an ‘exotic twist’… and fans are divided
JAMMIE Dodgers fans don’t know whether to love or loathe a new flavour of the beloved biscuits.
Biscuit lovers had mixed reactions upon learning there was a new Mango and Passionfruit flavour available to buy at supermarkets.

The 140g packet of biccies is 90p at Sainsbury’s and just one of a range of new flavours of the iconic brand.
A photo of the mango and passionfruit Jammie Dodgers was shared to the Newfoods UK social media pages where reactions where mixed.
“Wish they would just stick to original!!!! More jam!!!!!!!!” wrote one person.
Another added: “Oh yum.”
A third commented: “Tasteless.”
And a fourth reacted: “We need to get these.”
Another of the unique flavours available at supermarkets is cherry, apple and blackcurrant, and strawberry Jammie Dodgers.
A spokesperson for Fox Burton’s which makes Jammie Dodgers said they expect the new flavours to fly off the shelf.
“We are very excited about these new flavours and expect them to do well in market,” the spokesperson told The Sun.
Last year, the brand raised eyebrows when shoppers found a rereleased banana version of Jammie Dodgers.
The banana flavouring replaces the classic jam filling that Brits have grown to love over the years.
The yellow-flavoured biscuits were first launched in the UK in July 2022 inspired by the Minions film, The Rise of Gru.
It was not the first new flavour the biscuit company has tried – other tempting flavours have been launched such as cherry and apple.

Viktor Gyokeres transfer news – next club odds: Man Utd odds slashed after Sporting told he WON’T return, Arsenal in mix
MANCHESTER UNITED’S odds of signing Viktor Gyokeres have been slashed to well ODDS-ON.
The Swedish striker is hot property after another dazzling season in front of goal for Sporting.
Though it emerged today that he’s told the Portuguese side he WON’T play for them again and the reports claim he could even go on STRIKE after broken transfer promises.
Gyokeres is said to have come to a “gentleman’s agreement” with Sporting chiefs last September, with club bigwigs reportedly claiming that he could leave this summer for a fee in the region of £60million, including bonuses.
According to Portuguese paper Record, the Swede has been left frustrated by Sporting’s desire to now charge around £70m.
A move to Old Trafford would see the forward reunite with former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim.
Gyokeres, 26, averaged MORE than a goal per game across all competitions this season, notching a huge 54 goals in 52 games.

The latest terrific season took his Sporting tally to 97 goals in 102 games in the green and white hoops, since his £24million move from Coventry in the summer of 2023.
Perhaps most notably is his six goals in eight games in the Champions League, plus five scored in nine Europa League appearances, showing he can do it on the biggest stage.
But it could be he gives up on European football next season to line up for Amorim once more, and he’s now 4/11 with bet365 to become a United player this summer.
Juventus are the other market movers and are now 5/1 second favourites, ahead of Premier League pair Arsenal (7/1) and Liverpool (8/1), with the former in particular desperate to sign a top class centre forward.
Reports last week suggested Arsenal were set to make a move but those links have since cooled.

BRITS are being urged to check their lofts after a collection of rare Pokémon cards sold for more than £17,000 in a global bidding war.
Collectors from across the globe fought for the 17 lots of Pokémon, including 10 complete or near-complete sets.

A rare single Pokémon card – a Shining Charizard 107/105 first edition from the Neo Destiny set – sold for £1,250.
The first edition Neo Revelation set, including Shining Magikarp and Shining Gyarados, went for £3,400.
One collection of rare first edition Pokémon Base Set cards fetched £2,000.
The complete first edition Team Rocket set sold for £1,700, while the Fossil set made £1,200.
Hammer prices for all 17 lots totalled £17,220.
The collection was sold by Richard Winterton Auctioneers, Lichfield, West Midlands, after the owner from West Yorkshire took them in for a routine valuation, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Auctioneer Richard Winterton said: “A couple of years ago we sold a wonderful Pokémon collection for £250,000.
“We’re proud to have a great reputation for selling Pokémon and because of that we continue to receive countless consignments and requests for valuations from all over the UK.
“This latest collection had us very excited and, following a huge amount of pre-sale interest, went on to exceed expectations at auction.
“One of the highlights was a single Pokémon card – the Shining Charizard 1st edition from Neo Destiny – selling at a fantastic £1,250.
“It never fails to impress me how Pokémon has exploded into a global sensation – and it still continues to grow bigger and bigger.”
