He said that he was only in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for 12 hours and that the media and the right wing already nicknamed him Sheikh Noroña.

“How it weighs on them. What have I been representing? What I represent is humanism, commitment, solidarity between peoples, the fight for truth and justice, that’s what I have been representing,” he said as his eyes filled with tears.
He called those who criticize his trip to the Middle East a “gang of rabid cretins” and with this, he said, “they justify the genocide.”
“I understand the anger of the right, I got out of my head. Inconceivable that a person of my origin came here and of course I like to travel, but I didn’t come to walk, I came to express my solidarity with the Palestinian people… The truth is that I was calm with all the data, but I missed things, and it’s very stupid that you see this and act stupid, that you say: ‘It’s not my topic,’” he pointed out.
The former president of the Senate reported that it will not be possible for him to enter Jerusalem or the Gaza Strip because no authority guarantees his safety, but he announced that in the coming days he will meet with important officials and, among other issues, he will make arrangements for Mexico to receive orphaned Palestinian children.
“It’s a matter of humanity, that is, the cretins who criticize my visit from Mexico, come to visit. There are 25 checkpoints, Jerusalem is 40 minutes from here…, that is, you can do the furthest place in two hours, but there are 25 checkpoints and the so-called settlers are armed and very dangerous fascists, because in addition all the Jewish people have military training, they have to participate in military activity, they do active military service, and you playing your physique.
